Who We Work With

CMPC stands for Certified Mental Performance Consultant. I’m a Mental Coach. In my practice, I work with teams, individual athletes, coaches, parents, exercisers, or others who want to improve their mindset to improve satisfaction and performance in anything they do.

Athletes

Sports can be rewarding and punishing; as such, we help athletes find joy in those ups and downs. We teach you how to maintain a useful mindset no matter the external environment (i.e. coach, competition, parents, teammates etc...). We help athletes work on mental skills and mental toughness.

Teams

Teams must decide who they are, who they want to be, and how to maintain that identity throughout a season. We help them select steps to take that solidify a “we” over “me” mentality, and methods for overcoming barriers that could keep them from staying a united front.

Coach, coaching a player

Coaches

Coaching can be a tough and draining job if not addressed with the right mindset. We help coaches strengthen their underlying philosophies and build mental toughness so they can embrace and enjoy the challenges that arise throughout each season.

Parents

There is no harder job than being a parent on the sideline. Your children complain or cry to you, and all you want is to fix it. You know what your athletes should do, but they don’t listen. We want to help you approach these situations in a way that helps both you and your child enjoy their sport experience.

Exercisers

Everyone says exercise makes you healthy, but that’s only true if done correctly. We help you identify both what you want to do and how to keep yourself healthy and happy doing it. We teach you mental skills that increase your chances of either improving or maintaining, depending on your goals.

Others

In all areas of life (business, new career, retirement from college), we are faced with new challenges. Most often they are called stressors, leading to negative mindsets. We want to help our clients navigate change and the unknown with a healthy amount of optimism and curiosity, rather than fear or doubt.
